Strivo Launches Thematic Defence Booster Note
Strivo is expanding its range of structured products with a new theme-based plateau booster note, designed to capitalize on the growing investor interest in European defence stocks.
Strivo continues to expand its portfolio of structured products. Earlier this year, Strivo announced product nr 3,000 which constitute noteworthy milestone for the company.
“3000 Fondobligation Idea” is a fund-linked capital protected note, exposed to a volatility adjusted strategy on the hedge fund “Prior Nilsson Idea”. The strategy aims to give investors the opportunity to have leveraged exposure to the fund in a positive market environment, when volatility is low, and reduce the exposure in times of a market sell off, when volatility is high.
The product is offering an indicative participation rate of 300 percent to the strategy while 100 percent of the nominal amount is protected by the issuer, BNP Paribas.
Olof Gustafsson, Head of Structuring & Product development at Strivo, explains the reasoning behind the design: ”For a while now, inflation has been indicating a steady return towards 2 percent, both in the U.S and in Europe. The normalization of inflation and lowered policy rates are fundamentally positive for the stock market. On the other hand, there are also headwinds in terms of slowing global growth and high geopolitical risks.”
With this market environment in mind, the product was created. Olof continues ”The product combines a high participation rate in the stock market, with a robust capital protection and is therefore suitable for investors seeking a good return potential but with limited downside risk.”
”3000 Fondobligation Idea” is expected to be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, with first trading day on April 4th, 2024.
