The global population is ageing while lifestyle-related diseases continue to increase. Forecasts indicate that more than half of the world’s population is expected to suffer from obesity by 2035, contributing to rising demand for long-term pharmaceutical treatment. Historically, the pharmaceutical sector has demonstrated relatively low sensitivity to economic cycles, supported by stable cash flows and high barriers to entry.
The launch forms part of Strivo’s increased focus on thematic trackers. Over the past year, Strivo has launched trackers providing exposure to themes such as nuclear power, the global defence industry and European small-cap equities. Additional launches across several current investment themes are planned for 2026.
