SVP launches investment intermediaries

The financial market is constantly evolving, and the demand for structured capital-raising solutions is increasing. To address this demand, Svensk Värdepappersservice (SVP) launched a new service in the fall of 2024 – Investment intermediaries.

With its license for Placement of Financial Instruments Without Firm Commitment, SVP now collaborates with agents who assist issuers, fund managers, and investors in identifying the right investment opportunities. The investment intermediaries focus on professional clients, such as pension managers, insurance companies, and larger family offices, in Sweden and internationally.

With investment intermediaries, we create new opportunities to efficiently and systematically connect capital with investors" says Fredrik Wiberg, CEO of SVP. "We look forward to developing this service together with our partners.

The difference between investment intermediaries and investment advisory services

Unlike traditional financial advisors who provide investment recommendations to non-professional clients, an investment intermediary facilitates connections between issuers and investors without offering investment advice. Their role is to match capital with the right opportunities, ensuring an effective and structured approach to capital brokerage.

Support and network for investment intermediaries

Investment intermediaries operating under SVP’s framework benefit from compliance support, monitoring, and follow-up, while maintaining the flexibility to run their business independently. They also gain access to SVP’s extensive network, fostering valuable connections and collaboration within the financial sector.
